Travel to the western end of the island and discover the remarkable Flinders Chase National Park, one of the oldest and most
important national parks in South Australia. The park incorporates almost 20 per cent of the island and much of it is a Wilderness
Protection Area, Enjoy the opportunity to walk through the park in search for kangaroos, wallabies and a variety of birdlife.

At Admirals Arch see where the powerful forces of nature have cut through the headland to create this natural geological formation.

There is time to see at close range some of the 10,000 healthy Long-nosed Fur Seals in their colony from the different lookout points of the boardwalk as you head down to the Arch.

Discover the different formations of Remarkable Rocks, as you wander around them and take photos. These large granite boulders balance dramatically on the cliff edge, which plunges 75 metres into the Southern Ocean.

Enjoy a delicious gourmet picnic lunch with Kangaroo Island in a secluded scenic location. Enjoy the opportunity to search for kangaroos, wallabies and a variety of birdlife.

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with the very knowledgeable Nikki. The scenery was amazing and just loved our animal encounters. Lunch was plentiful and delicious. Overall a brilliant day and would highly recommend.

Nikki was knowledgeable and shared her love of the island, its wildlife and her gift for photography. We toured from Kingscote and American River to Vivonne Bay along the south coast, along to Flinders Chase National park and returned via the north road . We saw abundant wildlife including koala, wallaby, kangaroo, black cockatoo, eagle, kite, parrot and seal. We chased rainbows, stopped for photos, admired the growth post fire , listened to Nikki’s stories, ate and drank a tasty picnic lunch. Nikki likes to surprise you so the day was an fun adventure and simply stunning.
