  The captain knew his stuff about the area, very interesting commentary. He knew all about the history of the gorge and reeled off dates so easily. Good to hear it all

  Knowledgeable Captain, interesting history of the river system Beautiful area up in the gorge, great architecture up on the adjacent hills and the story of the span bridge was also interesting how it was built then duplicated later

  It was an enlightening trip listening to the very informative commentary of past and present day happenings along river. e.g. past floods, historical buildings, current real estate prices, children's antics.

  Perfect for those wanting a quick and informative tour around the Cataract Gorge. Boat was comfortable, skipper was very knowledgeable and personable.

  This was our second cruise of the river front precinct and Cataract Gorge and despite the many years gap the experience was just as enjoyable. Yes, some would say it is not the cheapest way to see the Gorge, but personally I reckon it's the best. You also have the added bonus of a very informative captain providing a fantastic insight into the history of both the city of Launceston and the origins of the gorge. In our opinion it was well worth the visit and the cost.
