Lovely weather for a day on the harbour. Well organised and arrived on time. Staff friendly. Bubbly was very sweet and cheap tasting. The high tea was disappointing. One very small sandwich, belini wet and prawn dry. Small cup cake was very dry, chocolate on the strawberries tasted cheap. Other things ok, but could be made into something exceptional that would make you want to do it again. Would also be good too offer refills of hot water for tea throughout the time. Sadly wouldn't recommended the high tea, there are other places out there that are better.
I am a solo traveler and as so, I book a lot of things alone. It was my last day in Sydney as well as my birthday so I thought this would be a fun way to celebrate. However, I felt judged for doing this cruise alone. The staff didnt bother to help me once they found out I was alone; I was ignored and served last and they kept asking me: "you're alone?" I dont understand why that would be a problem. Also, I paid for the mimosas and I was just given a bottle of sparkling wine instead (if i knew they were giving me a whole bottle i wouldnt have done that, but the advertisement said it was a bottomless mimosa option). I wasnt even given the choice of the sparkling wine, which was a sweet pink one, not a mimosa. Luckily, I befriended a few australian ladies and hung out with them, but if you are a solo person I highly recommend to avoid this experience. Also, I think the company should take into account Sydney is a popular destination and there may be people who want to partake in this experience and it shouldnt be treated as unusual.
