Leaning Church is located in a spectacular natural amphitheatre at the foothills of Mount Arthur near Lilydale, 20 minutes from Launceston, in the internationally-acclaimed Pipers River wine region.
Established 25 years ago, the vineyard gained global recognition under the Lalla Gully and Clover Hill labels with premium Sparkling, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, as well as a Sauvignon Blanc declared one of Australia's best. All wines, as well as a Sweet Riesling and Merlot, are available for tasting at cellar door.
Visitors to Leaning Church can wander around the vineyard and landscaped gardens, tour the historic "leaning" church, peruse local art, indulge in a glass of wine with a local cheese plate, sample single-malt whiskies and laugh at naughty wine labels.
Leaning Church also offers a full range of pre-booked functions in our rustic cellar door (up to 56 people), a permanent marquee on a fully-paved surface (140), an historic "leaning" church (48) and a new lakeside marquee site (360).
