The Messent Conservation Park is a Mallee park which homes the natural habitats of the Mallee Fowl and Silky Mouse. The park has a large variety of plants including brown stringy barks, white and ridge-fruited Mallee, desert banksias, fringed myrtle and yacca. Visitors to the park may also see wombats, echidnas, western grey kangaroos, emus, Mallee fowls and if you're lucky, even water fowls.
