As the northern gateway to Australia's Coastal Wilderness, few places have the spectacular seascapes, national parks and state forests that Bermagui boasts. The coastal walk from Wallaga Lake to the north of the town to Cuttagee Beach to the south covers around 15 kilometres of unspoilt magnificent coastal scenery. Amble along the clean sands and crystal waters of several mostly deserted beaches and follow walking tracks through the natural bushland admiring the local birdlife, fauna and flora. Stop and take in the breathtaking views at the lookouts at Murunna Point, Bermagui Point, Dickinson Point Headland and the Blue Pool. Paddle in the safe shallow waters of Wallaga Lake and Cuttagee Lake. Marvel at Camel Rock and the rock formations of the steep cliff faces. All this and more - with the majestic Gulaga Mountain as a backdrop.
